The Sharon City School District, Sharon PA, is seeking candidates for the open position of Boys’ Soccer Varsity/Junior Varsity Head Coach to lead our 2A program. Candidates should have high school coaching experience; collegiate playing/coaching experience is welcomed. Preferred candidates would have prior head coaching experience as well as the demonstrated ability to build a successful program starting at the community level and building to the varsity team. The head coach will be responsible for assembling their coaching staff, coordinating the Varsity, JV, and Middle School Programs with the Athletic Director, as well as the off-season programs in accordance with District 10/PIAA regulations. This is a reminder that Sharon Schools will return to in-person instruction, tomorrow, Monday, January 4, 2021. Students returning in in=person learning are reminded to bring their Chromebooks and charging devices back to school tomorrow. Due to a lack of participation at the site, the Sharon City School District will be ending meal distribution at Sharon Middle/High School during virtual instruction beginning Monday, December 7, 2020. Middle and High School students may continue to pick up lunches daily at their neighborhood elementary school between 11:00 A.M. and 12 Noon.
Sharon City School District parents and friends take note: Please review the District's website for updates regarding the status of our instructional plan beyond Friday, December 4, 2020. At this time the District has decided to continue our virtual model of instruction through the Christmas holiday. Details are included in the letter posted to our website. Thank you.

A reminder that while the Sharon Schools are operating on a 100% virtual model through Friday, December 4, 2020, brown bag meals are being served through our cafeteria program. Pick up for the meals are from 11 A.M. to 12 NOON at the three elementary buildings and from 2:30 P.M. until 3:30 P.M. at the Middle/High School.

**All students are reminded during virtual instruction that they must submit their attendance on the attendance form in their FIRST PERIOD teacher’s Google Classroom by 9:05 AM. If a student is absent from school during virtual instruction, parents are asked to fill out the absence form on the middle or high school website:

**If students are in need of a hotspot because their current hotspot needs replaced, Wi-Fi at home doesn't have a strong connection, or there isn’t Wi-Fi in the home, we ask that you call Mrs. Blair at 724-983-4030 ext. 1018 as soon as possible.**

In response to these cases we are working closely with the PA Department of Health and following all of their recommendations, along with implementing all of our in-house safety protocols.
